2 Arrested After 100 MPH Texas Police Chase

A high speed chase shut down part of I-37 in the downtown area.

The chase came to and end near the base of the Harbor Bridge just before noon on Wednesday.

Portland police say the driver reached speeds of up to 100mph as flew across the Harbor Bridge.

The driver lost control and spun out as he came off the bridge and was immediately surrounded at gunpoint by officers.

A man and a woman were taken into custody.
