Lana McAree Killed In Dallas Murder-Suicide

A woman who was killed during a murder-suicide in Dallas on Monday has been identified as an East Texas resident.

According to KXAS, a man identified as Matthew Kempf, of Allen, entered an office building, shot and killed Lana Canada McAree, of Sulphur Springs. Police say McAree was Kempf's supervisor. Kempf then turned the gun on himself.

According to McAree's Facebook, she worked as the regional vice president of the midwest of Heart to Heart Hospice.
