Texas Man Killed In Oklahoma Robbery

Norman, Oklahoma police are searching for at least one shooter after an apparent robbery ends with the death of an Iowa Park man.

It happened around 11:30 Sunday night, Norman police were called to the scene of a shooting at an apartment complex near southeast 24th and Lindsey Street.

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Nathan Ewing of Iowa Park. Police say Ewing was shot in the abdomen and succumbed to his injuries this morning at an area hospital.

Norman police say Ewing and another person met two black men in the parking lot when they were robbed. His friend was able to get away as were the two black men, officers say they have a person of interest.

He was a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma.

The shooting remains under investigation.
