A day care in northwest Harris County was placed on lockdown Friday as police searched for an armed man on the run.

Harris County Precinct 1 was called to a domestic disturbance in the 8500 block of Park Forest.

When deputies arrived, the man ran, investigators said.

A perimeter was set up in the area of West Mt. Houston and Antoine as deputies searched for the man.

Investigators said the man has a felony warrant for his arrest.
