Kirk Lynn Foreman (62) Killed By Hit-Run Driver

The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking help from anyone with information about a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.

The crash occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on May 9, on State Highway 155 in Marion County, five miles east of Ore City.

According to DPS, the preliminary investigation indicates a dark-colored pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet was traveling west on State Highway 155 when it traveled onto the shoulder of the road and struck a pedestrian at the end of a driveway.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid and immediately left the scene. The pedestrian was identified as Kirk Lynn Foreman, 62, of Ore City.

Foreman was pronounced dead at the scene.

DPS said it is believed that the vehicle will have damage to the right front and may be missing the right headlight.
