Murder-Suicide Victim Original Cowboys Cheerleader
A woman who died Sunday in an apparent murder-suicide was a former director of the Apache Belles and an original Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, according to Tyler Junior College.
Anna Marie Lee, 65, was found dead in her home Sunday in the 1200 block of Wimbledon Drive. Lee was found with Stephen Wayne Lee, 64. After a preliminary investigation, the Tyler Police Department determined the case was a murder-suicide.
Around 8:20 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the home for a welfare concern. They found the two inside the residence. Neighbors in the area say they were surprised.
"I'm shocked because I just saw them yesterday," Valente Chavez said. "And everything seemed to be fine."
