Smith County Sheriff's Office is investigating a murder-suicide after two decomposing bodies were found inside a house.

During their search of the house they discovered two handguns, which had been used in the couple's death.

The discovery was made around 1:00 p.m. in the 10000 block of County Road 272, just outside of Tyler near the Oil Palace.

Family members report, Charles Moore and his girlfriend Gwen D'Arcy were found dead inside the house.

Both families saying it had been at least two weeks since they last heard from the couple.
