Girl (Age 12) Raped At Gunpoint Behind School

Police released few new details about the rape of a middle school student on Thursday evening on the city's Northeast Side.

According to information provided by the San Antonio Police Department, the 12-year-old victim was at a bus stop when a man with a gun forced her to walk to a wooded area where he sexually assaulted her.

The assault happened behind Ed White Middle School at about 6:30 p.m. The suspect, believed to be between the ages of 16 and 22, ran off.

The girl then called a relative and was taken to a hospital for examination.
