Santiago Vasquez, 84, was jailed Thursday charged with murder after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in a neighborhood near a Killeen high school that left an 80-year-old man dead.

His bond is set at $1 million.

The shooting that claimed the life of John Wesley Seth, Jr., of Killeen was the result of an ongoing dispute, police said.

Seth was pronounced dead just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

An autopsy was ordered.
