Man Riding Bike Killed By Train Tuesday In Denton

A man riding a bicycle near West Shady Shores Road and Lakeview Boulevard was struck and killed by a commuter train Tuesday morning, police said.

The collision with a Denton County Transportation Authority A-Train happened at about 11:45 a.m. where the Denton Katy Trail crosses train tracks, police said.

The victim's identity hasn't been released.

A DCTA spokesperson said none of the 11 people on the train were injured in the collision.
