Police Searching For Suspect In Dog Abuse Case
A dog was found in Montgomery County last week with tape wrapped around its snout and authorities are searching for the person responsible, deputies said.
The female, mix-breed hound, which has been named Justice by officials, was found June 9 in the eastern part of the county near Old Texaco Camp Road, deputies said.
Investigators said the dog was found with several layers of electrical tape wrapped around her nose and upper jaw, and the tape had been there for a long time. They said Justice had severe injuries as a result of the tape.
Deputies said they are looking for anyone who may have seen the dog and knows who may be responsible for injuring her.
