Reicher Student Jose Servin Drowned On Sunday

Authorities Monday identified the 17-year-old boy drowned Sunday evening in a Hallsburg lake as Jose Servin.

Servin was a student a Reicher Catholic High School, authorities said.

The school held a prayer vigil Monday.

McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara said the teenager was on a flotation device Sunday at Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir when he fell off.

McNamara said Servin could not swim.
