Police suspect one man is behind 2 carjackings, a robbery and an attempted carjacking that occurred over a 40 minute period Saturday morning.

Authorities said the crime spree started at a Holiday Inn Express & Suites on East Chavaneaux Road when the man stole a Buick SUV at gunpoint. From there, police said the man robbed a Cricket Wireless store just across the highway Roosevelt Avenue and 410.

The suspect then attempted to ditch the Buick for a new car and tried to steal another person's vehicle on Zarzamora Road and Brunswick Boulevard.

After an unsuccessful carjacking attempt, the man drove around until he stopped at the Cathedral of Faith at Stonewall and Packard and stole a pastor's Ford F-150.
