Isaacks Found Not Guilty Of Intoxication Manslaughter
A Lubbock jury found Lexi Isaacks, 23, not guilty of intoxication manslaughter Friday for the death of Alex Flores, 48.
Isaacks was 20 in December of 2014 when her SUV crashed into Flores’ car at the intersection of Marsha Sharp Freeway and Upland Avenue. Flores was stopped at a red light when Isaacks crashed into him from behind.
A police officer testified that Isaacks failed multiple items in a field sobriety test.
In her SUV, police testified that there were five opened cans of Coors beer, a Jack Daniels box, an empty bottle of Coors light, an empty box of Coors light, and an unopened can of beer.
