Authorities say one person is dead after a crash on eastbound I-30 and Highway 80 near Big Town Blvd, shutting down the interstate Friday morning.

The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. as authorities begin to investigate the crash. They say they anticipate eastbound I-30 to be shut down for the next few hours.
