5-Children & Their Mother Died In A House Fire Near Silsbee Last Night
The bodies of five children, ranging in age from 3 to 11 years old, and their mother were found inside a home that burned in a fire in rural southeast Texas overnight.
Hardin County Sheriff's Department said the house fire happened on a property four miles north of the city of Silsbee.
Emergency crews said the fire was on one of two homes on the property. Neighbors who saw the home fully involved in flames first called 911.
According to authorities, the victims included a 3-year-old boy, twin 4-year-old boys, a 7-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, and a 31-year-old woman, who was believed to be the children's mother.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. ABC13
