Man Injured After Hotel Guest In Adjoining Room Fired Gun Through Wall
One person was injured when a gun was discharged in an adjacent hotel room Sunday morning in Dripping Springs.
The Hays County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call at the Outpost Hotel at 26200 Ranch Road 12. A guest reported hearing a gunshot in one of the hotel rooms.
Authorities discovered a 35-year-old male with a non-penetrating bullet wound to the leg from a gun that was discharged in the adjacent room which penetrated the hotel room wall.
Deputies searched for the person who rented the adjacent room and found the suspect, identified as 54-year-old William Frame of New Braunfels, walking down Ranch Road 12. Authorities found a handgun in Frame’s possession when detained.
Frame was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Hays County Jail. VALLEYCENTRAL
