Reader Jennifer Klock reports that when Ridgecrest and North City lost power around 3:45pm on Sunday, she went looking for the cause and found Ron, a retired LFP police officer, walking up NE 175th St.
He explained what he had learned and shared photos he took.
A van descending the hill on 25th Ave NE may have hit a power pole and then hit a silver car at the intersection of 25th Ave NE and 24th Ave NE (NE 178th St) before fleeing the area.
Lake Forest Park Police, Shoreline Police, and Fire have responded as there was reportedly a driver trapped in a car under the power lines.

The accident has caused a huge power outage, from 5th to 35th NE and from 165th to 185th. City Light estimates that power will be restored by 9pm Sunday evening.
