When you search "nhl playoffs" Google returns 1,950,000 pages.
Thinking that was low so I Googled "stanley cup playoffs" and got only 581,000.
Really? Sheesh.
Last night the Winnipeg "Jets" crawled out of a 3-0 first period hole and blitzed Nashville 7-1 the rest of the way en route to a 7-4 win in the Peg and a two games to one series lead. If Peggers set a decibel record in Bell MTS Place their cheering went unheard by most.
If you google "nba playoffs" you get 3,650,000 search results, hmm 40%-45% more than with hockey. Thought that was low too, however, so I made a completely non-sports search for comparison: I googled "benjamin harris." 1,640,000.
Serious? Two and one half time more Google pages for Benjamin Harris than Stanley Cup playoffs?
Cleveland hung on in OT to beat Toronto 113-112 up north to take a 1-0 series lead.
