Boy Charged With Raping Special Needs Student
A 17-year-old Harlingen High School student was arrested on Monday after he confessed to allegedly raping a special needs student during P.E.
Harlingen police charged the alleged suspect on Monday after he admitted to sexually assaulting another student while she was napping underneath the school’s main gymnasium bleachers, according to a criminal complaint.
The report states the incident occurred on May 16, during P.E. class.
The victim told police she became tired during the class, and went to take a nap underneath the bleachers.
In the criminal complaint, it states the victim told police that’s when the alleged suspect approached her, tried to remove her jacket, and then pinned her down and forcefully removed her pants and underwear.
