Dallas Saenz (Tulia) Died In Plainview Accident

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a semi-truck in Plainview Saturday morning.

The accident occurred on Interstate 27 at the 24th Street overpass around 6:30 a.m.

According to the DPS, the pedestrian was walking west across the interstate and was struck by a northbound semi-truck.

Authorities said the semi-truck driver attempted to avoid striking the pedestrian.

The victim, identified as Dallas Saenz, 18, of Tulia was pronounced deceased at the accident scene.
