Double Murder-Suicide Reported In Denton County

Sanger police and Denton County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating what appears to be a double homicide-suicide in Denton County.

Police and sheriff's deputies went to the 2500 block of Wichita Trail at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday.

According to the sheriff's office, an elderly couple was found dead along with a younger white man who had taken his own life.

"There is no other suspect involved in this investigation," the sheriff's office said in a release. "This is not a random act and the citizens of Sanger, Texas and Denton County are safe."

The suspect and victims have not been identified at this time.
