Justin Landreau Of Tyler Killed In Lindale Accident

Lindale Police have identified a contractor who was killed Tuesday in an industrial accident at the Target Distribution Center near Lindale.

Police say Justin Landreau, 31, of Tyler died while operating heaving equipment. The equipment is similar to a skylift which is used to reach high areas.

Authorities responded to a report of an accident at around 1:30 p.m. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say Landreau did not fall, but the exact cause of death has not been released. The cause will likely not be released until after OSHA completes their investigation.
