30 High Water Rescues Reported In Midland / Odessa

Authorities in Odessa responded to more than 30 High Water Rescues during flooding Tuesday.

Several High Water Rescues, accidents, and even a fire were reported between 4 a.m. on Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to Corporal Steve LeSueur, Odessa Fire Rescue responded to:

- 8 Major accidents
- 31 High Water Rescues
- 1 Structure Fire

The Odessa Police Department Responded to:

- 30 Assist Motorist calls
- 5 Unattended Vehicles
- 19 Minor accidents
- 1 Major accident

Anytime you see water on the road you are advised to find another route. Turn around, don't drown.
