Houston Hospital Is Running Out Of Food

Ben Taub Hospital is in dire need for food for their patients.

Officials told Eyewitness News reporter Steven Romo that they are expected to run out of food Tuesday after dinner time.

Because some of the patients have dietary needs, they cannot accept just any food donations and are currently looking for a food vendor.

Ben Taub tried to evacuate critical patients first on Sunday, but they were unable to remove them because the ambulance had issues due to the high water.

They are still making plans to try and evacuate the approximately 20 critical patients out of a total of 350.
