We are finally catching on. So, what do we do about this? We can now anticipate. But what is our response? Trump, at Putin's behest, deliberately suckered the NFL, the Golden State "Warriors", LeBron James into a reaction last week. WE CANNOT BE RE-ACTIVE, WE MUST BE PRO-ACTIVE. When Trump divides he makes sure that the math is in his favor. When he is racist towards Black people, he calculates that he is alienating 13% to get 61%, Whites. His plan with North Korea is exactly what SNL says it is: to fuel a crisis that distracts us from...Russia. Today, Trump tweeted that Secretary of State Tillerson, in Beijing seeking a diplomatic solution, "SHOULDN'T WASTE HIS TIME." Trump Does. Not. Want. a diplomatic solution. Tillerson would get the credit. TRUMP must get the credit. TRUMP. MUST. WIN. When he doesn't, when he doesn't win the popular vote he claims vote fraud. IGNORES FACTS. What did he do when Luther Strange lost in Alabama? ERASED HIS TWEETS! "Vote for Big Luther." Gone. Trump must win, or must be seen to have won. From time immemorial the ONE THING that can get an embattled leader support at home is?...A foreign crisis. "Partisanship stops at the border!" is an American political truism. Rally round the flag! I nuked North Korea! 25,000,000 GONE! I had to do it! More air for the rest of us! Us real Americans! Look! I have the flag wrapped around me! Rally around ME! Or you are unpatriotic.
I do not know what to do about this. Vaguely, we should be proactive. Specifically, I don't know. The only thing I can think is by analogy to what Chris Christie did to Marco Rubio. Turn to him and say, "He's going to say the same thing word for word that he always does." AND THEN RUBIO DID! THE FUCKING NUMBSKULL SAID IT AGAIN WORD-FOR-WORD! "There it is," is all Christie said and all he had to say.
What should the NFL players (BLACK!) have done? I don't know! What should GSW (Black) have done? Go to the White House? Not going enabled Trump to turn it against them: "It's an honor to be invited to the White House." (They are not patriotic. Anybody who refuses an invite to the White House or who kneels during the national anthem, or who desecrates the flag is being unpatriotic, they are un-American (slippery slope), they should be fired (they should be disenfranchised), if they disrespect ME they are disrespecting the flag, the anthem, the White House (their votes shouldn't have counted, there was voter fraud, I would have...I DID win the popular vote if you take out the illegal immigrants and America-hating always bitch-bitch-bitch Blacks, Black Lives Matter No! "All lives matter" (You know what I mean, only White lives matter)))))).
